IATF 2023

The Catalyze team attended IATF (Inter Africa Trade Fair) a trade exhibition and  four-day forum conference in Cairo, Egypt this November, organised by the Afreximbank and the African Union to drive intra-Africa Trade and grow the continent.

The Catalyze team met with over 300 businesses at the event, which included Trade & Industry Departments, Industry Associations and leading exporters from the African continent, to help boost the Catalyze AGOA Eligibility and Trade Logistics Customer Service Support program and the  Engage Trade Africa program funded by USAID and Prosper Africa.

Catalyze’s Managing Director Rex Bowden also attended CANEX (Creative Africa Nexus), a creative industry event held at IATF, meeting with awesome African Digital Creative professionals working on amazing digital projects, including Mohamed Zoghlami from Afric’Up ,  Ebele Okoye from Jolly Squid Media and Stuart Forrest from Triggerfish Animation.

Keeping things fun, the Catalyze team explored some of Cairo’s great sites with camel-back rides around the pyramids, exploring inside the pyramids, and then arranging a South African delegation to cruise the Nile.
